The XI meeting will be held in Cusco, between August 10 and 15, 2025. It is organized by the Research Group in Bioarchaeology and Forensic Anthropology of the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú (PUCP), the Mallqui Center and independent Peruvian scientists.
The congress will include keynote lectures, podium presentations and poster sessions. The main theme of this meeting is based on the Andean vision of the ancestors: they remain alive among us, helping us to live well, the Allin Kawsay: doing the right thing to live in harmony with everyone and with nature. In this way, with the scientific study of the mummies, we seek to emphasize the continuity of the transmission of the wisdom of our ancestors.
